Timeless Patriotism: Guam and World War II

Field Producer, Associate Producer, Camera

Timeless Patriotism: Guam and World War II chronicles the harrowing experiences of Guamanian residents under a brutal three-year Japanese military occupation of their island. The film highlights the enduring courage and local resistance efforts of the Chamorro people up until their liberation by U.S. forces in 1944. It also sheds light on how this profound legacy is honored today through Guam’s annual, yet largely unknown, Liberation Day parade.
